The Gue Village Mummy of monk Sangha Tenzin..

Mummy of monk Sangha Tenzin.

The mummy of monk Sangha Tenzin,

The mummy, identified as that of monk Sangha Tenzin, was found inside a tomb at Gue village in the cold and remote Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, India about 6000 metres above sea level. Gue villagers have known about the mummy since 1975, when an earthquake struck the region and brought down a part of the tomb. However due to the remoteness of Gue, in a desolate mountainous area close to India's border with China – restricted to the public and under the control of the paramilitary Indo-Tibetan Border Police – the mummy's existence has remained under wraps. The localsl of the Gue Village are really nice people & they go beyond their duty to help U. When we reached Gue at the Temple where the Mummy is kep,we found it locked ! Road was under repair and we could not enter the building . We were little disappointed after travelling for 3 hours from Lhanza to the Village that too on such dangerous roads reached Gue. We were not lucky to have a look of the Mummy.
My friend, Manoj Peshavaria from Jamnagar could cross this difficult road and was successful in going this building. He took the photographs of the Mummy from inside.

THIS INFORMATION IS ABOUT THIS PLACE WHERE MUMMY IS FOUND.

MUMMY INSIDE THE BUILDING

MANOJ PESHAVARIA ENTERED THE BUILDING AND TOOK PHOTOS OF MUMMY

WE ARE VERY NEAR TO THIS SITE. THE ROAD IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION AND WE COULD NOT GO NEAR THE PLACE WHERE MUMMY WAS PLACED.

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF A RIVER !
