Today I met Prakash Gidwani who is a social worker.

He has committed his life to do cremation of unclaimed bodies, accident victims, beggers etc.

He tries to find their religion and does cremation accordingly.

Keeps pictures and all records, taking help from police. Tries to locate relatives to inform them.

Among over thousands of bodies, cremated by him in years, were celebrities too.

Once , he was in a garage for repairing the puncture of his car. The boy was repairing and suddenly left the shop . His assistant told him that boy was in trouble as he was not having enough money for cremation of the body of his father . Prakash immediately took a auto and rushed to boy's home and told him not to worry and arranged everything for cremation. From that day , he started this social work .

He is a person with very difficult, different and committed cause. His lecture was so touchy that tears came to our eyes .

He is a businessman . His wife is Principal of Engineering College and sons are postgraduates in Engineering and well placed .

He talks very high of Mumbai police and they contact him when they find such cases. He offers them all help .

Real happiness is helping others . Helping such people who are in such difficulties is a difficult social work . A rare type of social worker. What a different commitment of a person !
